Insta-Loser

K, I have to confess, the very first app I downloaded when I got my iPhone was Instagram. I just love taking artsy pictures, always have, but I never had a place to share them (well other than here and tumblr). So when I heard there was a place I could take pictures and instantly upload them into a community of people do the same exact lame thing… what do you think I said?
Well ya I jumped on the chance. And here is a collection of a few fun pictures I took with my phone. Which still mystifies me by the way, the camera is spectacular!

Fearlessness

These piece are the most beautiful pieces of jewellery I own currently. They were gifts from my lovely sisters for graduation.
The first is a necklace I haven't taken off since that is written is Sanskrit which is an Indo-Aryan language which is primarily used for religious reasons in Jainism and Buddhism. The necklace reads: Fearlessness. For me, this next step is a really big one. This is a small reminder each day that I can be fearless.
The ring reads love, obviously. I have never been into dainty jewellery but this ring sits perfectly. I apologize for all of the emotional hubbub but I guess leaving high school really is scary for me!
I hope everyone is having a lovely June! As I promised there will be giveaway - stay tuned!

Neon is My Friend

necklace, Zara - dress, Bloomingdales - shoes, Banana Republic - purse, H&M - blazer, Thrifted
I would like to apologize for two things: first the fact that these pictures were mostly taken from my iPhone because I didn't really have time to take proper pictures. Second that you are going to see this necklace ALL summer. I had been looking at so many pretty neon pieces online but I found they were all super expensive (at least the ones I liked). So when I found this one in Zara I jumped at the chance to wear some neon. I have already worn it way more times then I would like to admit to…
This was the most lovely night. First I went out to dinner with my Dad and older siblings. After my sister took me as her date to the Powerball that was by the Harbourfront, which was a totally fun and exciting party. The people were dressed to the nines and the music was fun. Dragonette played a set - my 13 year old self was very ecstatic!

The Perfect Match

dress, BCBG - shoes, Banana Republic - purse, H&M - ring, Topshop
This lovely dress is actually my mothers (yes the fabulous perks of having a fashion savvy mother) and I am totally in love with it. I am trying to find a way to wear it again because it is so darling. The fabric is so fine it sits above my skin so perfectly. Anyhow this was our grad dinner, where we all dress up with our teachers, parents etc. Above are all my pretty friends :) :)
As you can see I have the maturity of a 6 year old when I figured out I had brought a purse that day from H&M that matches my pick-up truck perfectly. The colours, pattern it is all spot on. Craziness!
More on my shopping ventures soon. :)

Bohemian Like You

shorts, American Apparel - shirt, Express - purse, Prada - necklace, Over the Rainbow - bracelets, random markets/gifts/countries
So everyone, its official, I never have to go back to high school ever, ever again… like no joke I am FREE. My graduation was on Friday, along with many other grad festivities, which I will post about later. This outfit was from last week in the midst of all the craziness. I am soooo obsessed with these shorts, I have worn them almost every day this week! Also above you can see my favourite summer arm candy. I love it because all of the pieces remind me of some of the wonderful travels I have had over the past few years.
Now that I don't have any homework, assignments or tests to weigh me down, I am going to promise that I will put my heart and soul into this blog, making it the best it can be!
And to start summer off with a bang - stay tuned for my very first GIVEAWAY. Hehe..
